Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Supervise daily dispatch operations and co-ordinate delivery schemes.
* Co-ordinate with production, sales and customers.
* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly dispatch reports.
* Work in conjunction with the quality control section so that jobs are inspected before delivery.
* Close the dockets that are supplied in full quality.
* Record jobs in the daily return/output form and in works register.
* Efficient dispatching of jobs.
* Compile the daily output form.
* Daily supervision of subordinates.


Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Minimum of Five (5) ‘O’ Levels including English Language.
* Two (2) years’ experience in dispatch, warehousing, logistics or distribution operations.
* Knowledge of stock control, inventory management and dispatch operations.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Proficiency in computers is an added advantage.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
